Our June creative challenge is now officially over!
For the last 3 days of the challenge, I wanted to make something that would remind me of spring and summer, as the weather here in Montreal has been so bad lately. I am quite happy with the Spring Flowers pendant.
I aslo took advantage of the challenge to work with gold-filled components and found out that soldering gold-filled was not an easy task as it really needs lots of protection against oxidation.
This challenge has been a great opportunity to focus my time on creating everyday, but when I look back, I think the next challenge would need some changes.
First of all, an entire month is just too long… I found out that I did loose my enthousiasm during the last 2 weeks or so. So the next challenge will probably be running for a shorter period of time. I might also change a couple of rules too, to get me more focused on specific themes.
I’ll let you know when the next creative challenge will take place and what the exact rules are. Stay tuned!
