I have been away for quite some time… And some of you might have wondered where I have been, or what I have been doing all that time.
Well, I sure didn’t go anywhere, but I was (and still am) very busy with new challenges.
I am currently taking some Photoshop courses in order to get perfect pictures for my jewelry pieces. I have also started to learn Rhino, which is actually not easy to master. Really, this stuff is tough on the brain, lol! Anyway, I try to go through the tutorials, read as much as I can and of course, practice. And when I feel ready, I’d take a course with a pro to give me the technical knowledge I need to actually use Rhino for my jewelry designs. Not sure when that would happen, but hopefully, that would be at the beginning of 2011.
In the meantime, I am working on a new jewelry collection, with stars, hearts and flowers. I’ll get some pictures for you coming soon.
I have also opted-in the Group Deal from Artfire, to get a pro studio, which I am still personalizing. I am currently following their 45 day success guide. I’ll see how it goes, with the coming Holiday season. That doesn’t mean that I am giving up on Etsy. I am keeping my shop there, and will continue to list new items. But all the relisting game there was not easy for me to play. Artfire is so different, and with all the tools you get with a pro account, I just couldn’t resist giving it another chance.
So that’s what I’ve been doing!
